06/11/2019 less than 2 weeks and the Passenger side Spyder headlight is about 60% covered in condensation :/ I contacted support to see what they have to say. The Auxbeam lighting is still kicking butt though!
What do you think of the New tinted SPYDER AUTO headlights for the magnum? Driving at night is so much better thanks to the Auxbeam W-Series LED bulbs in both my headlight low beams and driving lights.
This upgrade took about 5 hours, included front clip removal, Halo wiring, Driving light removal and driving light/fog lens polishing.
In this quick video we go into installing the Strut tower cover, making sure we properly torque the nuts. As per the service manual 20 Ft Lbs. is all you need for these 3 little nuts on the Dodge Challenger.
My love for the Orange Billet Technology parts is growing, This recent order to add to my parts that were transferred from the scat from the scat took about 3 weeks to arrive. I have one last custom piece on the way at 5 weeks, due took some redesigning. BT Custom engravings and some of their cool new colors generally carries a wait, so when ordering keep this in mind. I assure you though the wait is worth it.
After many years of listening to our customers for a solid one piece design on strut covers we are pleased to bring you this fantastic 2 piece kit.
BT gives it to you straight. We don’t have to use smoke and mirrors like our competitors do who outright lift our designs and attempt to confuse the market place with misleading names and statements to make you the customer think you are buying a genuine BT product. When you purchase from Billet Tech you receive the best product period a genuine original!
Standard Hardware – No nuts will come with the kit. Meaning you will need your own nuts or the stock nuts.

Full billet aluminum, fully-adjustable Front Upper Control Arms for your 2WD Charger, Challenger, Magnum, 300, Hellcat, etc. These Arms use our unique tab-lock system to facilitate easy, on-vehicle Camber adjustment so that when you lower your ride, you can get your Front Camber back in spec. We also use more rigid inboard bushings (90A polyurethane) or our new Patent Pending Spheriflex teflon impregnated Delrin spherical bushings to reduce or eliminate the slop in the OEM parts.
Our parts are all precision machined from 6061-T6511 billet aluminum and alloy steel. Tabs are laser-cut for exact fit and all hardware is high-strength with OEM-quality plating to resist corrosion. Our arms weigh approximately 1 pound less than the OEM parts (each) but are significantly stronger in all directions.
We use a high-end, FK stainless-steel, Teflon-lined spherical bearing for the joint that is angled 5-degrees to prevent joint bind at full droop. This bearing is replaceable and will last for years without issue.
In short, we have done everything we can to make sure these parts fit exactly right, provide all the adjustment you could need (up to +/- 8mm as compared to stock) and give nothing but trouble-free years of service even under harsh conditions.
The Challenger’s chin spoiler or front splitter has been known to take a beating from curbs and driveway entrances. Mine had some road rash from the previous owner, but once cleaned up I plan to protect it for years to come.
I didn’t even know this existed until I started ordering ZL1 Addons parts for my new Widebody Hellcat, these popped up in the list and I knew I needed to have it. The kit consists of 3 thick HDPE pieces contoured to the chin spoiler, they bolt in replacing the factory push clips. Then custom metal washers screw into HDPE, these take the beating protecting your chin spoiler.
These custom made splitter washers are for the Dodge Challenger SRT Demon and Widebody offering. This setup comes in a 3 piece layout that includes all mounting hardware and splitter protectors. MADE IN USA
This product protects your splitter from rubbing the bottom off when going through dips or up hills.
Note: THESE WILL NOT WORK WITH ANY OF OUR SPLITTER EXTENSIONS!!
Sad day today… I pulled the Cervinis Shaker kit off my Scat Pack as part of the month long process of returning her to stock. With the Shaker kit removed and the Billet Technology bling transferred to the Hellcat this looks nothing like my car.
The Cervinis Challenger Shaker Hood kit came with everything I needed to convert my Stock Challenger to a Shaker. The Cervini’s Kit is slightly larger and more aggressive looking than the OEM Mopar Shaker. This was my main reason for selecting Cervinis.
I chose the matte finish for the shaker and it held up very well ove the 3 years it was installed, the finish looks as good as the day I bought it. The hood was prepped and painted Pitch Black by Cervinis and they nailed the color match very well.
I will truly miss this mod…
I feel the Cervinis is much better than the stock shaker option. Why better you ask? Cervinis offers a perfect seal between the hood and the shaker outlet allowing NO HOT ENGINE AIR into the airbox. This coupled with the mopar intake tube allowing ram air from the headlight and you have an amazing cold air intake setup with an aggressive hood to match. If you are interested in seeing more info about the Cervinis kit and why I ordered it check out Cervinis Challenger Shaker kit Part 1

In the opening of the video you can see the new Charger Widebody concept which is masked with a geometric wrap to hide the shape, but you can still get a good view of the design. Sporting 20 x 11” wheels that look similar to the Daytona wheels wrapped in 305/35/20 tires. You can see quite a few other design changes in this version of the car. These changes include Fender Flairs (obviously) with the side markers molded in. The front features a jeep SRT / Durango style slot above the bumper shortening the upper grill then below the bumper you will find much larger fog Light area vents. In the rear there are some subtle changes to the vents and you will see the spoiler has been extended quite nicely.
I’m not sure what to think, I would have loved to see it in a solid color to better understand the design… Time till tell if this will make the jump to a production car in 2020.
Due to the music played at the event most of the audio needed to be replaced with non-copyright music, all the tracks be found below for your enjoyment. We do cut in and out with live audio at time. In the next week or so I will be posting more video from the days leading up to the event, including the disassembly of a few hour old Hellcat Redeye to modify to for the event.

In this video I share my thoughts on both the ZL1 Addons and MFER-1 products after using them on the Scat Pack for a few months. I continue to disassemble the Scat Pack and move some of the great choices I made along with you guys over to the Widebody Hellcat. I also go into detail on how I feel about each product and if the install caused any damage to the Scat Pack.
After Purchasing all the ZL1 Addons parts for the Scat Pack (Diffuser, Side Skirts, Extensions, Mag Pads), and being very pleased with them, I was hoping they would offer me a discount on my next order based on the content I’ve put out. I always reach out to vendors I want to buy from to see if they are interested in offering me a discount. When I contacted ZL1 they offered me the Side Skirts, Rock Guards and Splitter guard at no charge …well for the cost of an install video. I want to Thank ZL1 Addons for sending me these parts and helping me get my Widebody protected while my car parts budget is recovering from the hellcat down payment.
In this video we talk about the following products
The awesome Sto-N-Sho NO DRILL license Plate mount, keeps your Hellcat legal without putting a single blemish on your front bumper. Check out my review video from 2 years ago on the Scat Pack lower bumper version. This one is still going strong and featured in this video. The hellcat passed NJ State inspection at the Paramus MVC Inspection Center with my Sto-N-Sho holding my front plate.
At the time of this post March of 2019 there are 31 states require front plates while 19 only require 1 rear plate. If you are lucky enough to live in one of those 19 states, this product is NOT for you …and know the rest of us are a little jealous.
For me, getting around this law is not an option, I left my Sto-N-Sho off once and was immediately stopped on my commute home from work. Something to consider as well, we are putting an officer’s safety at risk, when they have to get out into traffic just to issue a warning about a law we are fully aware of. NJ fines for a missing plate are up to $100 and for those of you that like to sport “Euro Plates” this is considered displaying fictitious numbers which carries a fine of up to $500.00
The Sto-N-Sho is my favorite solution after using the lower mount for almost 4 years on my Challenger Scat Pack it was only obvious, my first mod for the Hellcat was the Sto-N-Sho mount centered on the bumper. Don’t forget to get a set of NJ legal License plate Frames to finish off the look. I reached out to Big Mike’s Performance Parts and they were kind enough to send me this one along with a box of swag for free. …I guess they liked my review video 😉 Special thanks to the sales team over at Big Mike’s Performance Parts for the hookup!
Note: I paid full price for my Scat Pack Sto-N-Sho
Another successful Headlight Restore with the 3M Headlight Restoration Kit this time on the Magnum. After my first success with the 2005 Hyundai Tuscon, I bought another kit for my 2005 Dodge Magnum, it was $15 on amazon and now at the time of this video it’s down to $10. The kit included everything I needed to achieve these results in just about an hour. The only thing I needed was my trusty Ryobi One+ drill which I forgot to charge. We went from hazy, cloudy, yellowed headlights to crisp bright clear lights with a little bit of effort. The difference is huge, it’s immediately noticeable when you approach the car and provides a lot more light while driving because the light is no longer being diffused by the hazy lenses. When I did the Hyundai, at first I tried to do it by hand sanding the lights, but this method was taking forever, after picking up the 3M Headlight Restoration Kit I was cutting through the yellow haze 10x faster with my Drill.
As I mentioned in this video, I highly recommend you find something to protect your freshly polished headlights from those harmful UV rays. I didn’t want to mask off the entire car to spray a UV resistant non-yellowing clear coat like the Rust-Oleum 327864 2x Clear. I used the more expensive, but far easier option of coating it in Chemical Guys Jet Seal and letting it set for 20 minutes. It may be more expensive, but it’s not a single use product. I always have Chemical Guys Jet Seal on hand, I use it every few months to coat my wheels, glass and paint. I find it creates a nice slick surface that dirt, brake dust and bird poo does not like to stick to. It also has desirable water beading property on the windows and windshield.
Note: The 3M Headlight Restoration Kit will get your headlights clear, but you may see imperfections deep in the plastic that you cannot get out. Please don’t expect crystal clear new from the factory headlights, all the years of rock chips and other age related imperfections will be visible up close, but trust me your headlights will look 100x better both visually and provide more light output while driving.
