In this video I cover how to remove the Challenger rear spoiler and install the new SRT Performance Spoiler. It’s an easy swap takes about 1 hour and the new SRT Performance Spoiler (aka Redeye spoiler) is compatible with most 2015 and up Challengers.
I grabbed mine from eastcoastmoparts.com at the time it was $390, but since posting on Instagram I see the price is rising…

Installing a Carbon fiber Steering wheel in a friends Challenger Hellcat, because I cannot afford to buy one myself ;).  These Steering wheels run between $1200.00 – $1800.00 and higher depending on the leather and finishes. While this one is not perfect it looks great and the owner paid less than $800.00 for it so it was a good deal despite the order issues.

I won’t be promoting the vendor that sold this one, but if you are looking for a Carbon fiber Steering wheel reach out to Randal or Jose at modfx and they will take care of you.

IMPORTANT

• Discard and replace the Steering wheel Bolt every time you remove!
• Steering Wheel bolt Torque to 63 ftlbs

A little bit of Drama with a happy ending.

Special thanks to Marissa and Nielsen Auto Body for taking care of me quickly and painlessly. After sending a few photos they setup an appointment for me to drop off the wheels on a Tuesday and I had them back complete on Friday!

Update 06/11/2020: the 2 refinished wheels were chipped and flaking off in a year and less than 4,000 miles.  Taking them to get properly powder coated.

Anthony over at Scalia Motorsports is cutting the half cover of your choice to fit in the driver side area, for a little more he will even paint it, and if you want a matching, painted set you can even add the passenger side to your order.

His covers are priced way below many others on the market right now so grab them before he realizes!  Steve’s cover was painted in white knuckle with B5 blue accents and the edge trim was painted in B5 with a flex agent as an experiment, it looks great but we don’t think it’s going to last so if you like try this one from Amazon:

06/11/2019 less than 2 weeks and the Passenger side Spyder headlight is about 60% covered in condensation :/ I contacted support to see what they have to say.   The Auxbeam lighting is still kicking butt though!

In this quick video we go into installing the Strut tower cover, making sure we properly torque the nuts. As per the service manual 20 Ft Lbs. is all you need for these 3 little nuts on the Dodge Challenger.

From AAD Performance

Full billet aluminum, fully-adjustable Front Upper Control Arms for your 2WD Charger, Challenger, Magnum, 300, Hellcat, etc. These Arms use our unique tab-lock system to facilitate easy, on-vehicle Camber adjustment so that when you lower your ride, you can get your Front Camber back in spec. We also use more rigid inboard bushings (90A polyurethane) or our new Patent Pending Spheriflex teflon impregnated Delrin spherical bushings to reduce or eliminate the slop in the OEM parts.

Our parts are all precision machined from 6061-T6511 billet aluminum and alloy steel. Tabs are laser-cut for exact fit and all hardware is high-strength with OEM-quality plating to resist corrosion. Our arms weigh approximately 1 pound less than the OEM parts (each) but are significantly stronger in all directions.

We use a high-end, FK stainless-steel, Teflon-lined spherical bearing for the joint that is angled 5-degrees to prevent joint bind at full droop. This bearing is replaceable and will last for years without issue.

In short, we have done everything we can to make sure these parts fit exactly right, provide all the adjustment you could need (up to +/- 8mm as compared to stock) and give nothing but trouble-free years of service even under harsh conditions.

The Challenger’s chin spoiler or front splitter has been known to take a beating from curbs and driveway entrances. Mine had some road rash from the previous owner, but once cleaned up I plan to protect it for years to come.

I didn’t even know this existed until I started ordering ZL1 Addons parts for my new Widebody Hellcat, these popped up in the list and I knew I needed to have it.  The kit consists of 3 thick HDPE pieces contoured to the chin spoiler, they bolt in replacing the factory push clips. Then custom metal washers screw into HDPE, these take the beating protecting your chin spoiler.

Sad day today… I pulled the Cervinis Shaker kit off my Scat Pack as part of the month long process of returning her to stock. With the Shaker kit removed and the Billet Technology bling transferred to the Hellcat this looks nothing like my car.

The Cervinis Challenger Shaker Hood kit came with everything I needed to convert my Stock Challenger to a Shaker. The Cervini’s Kit is slightly larger and more aggressive looking than the OEM Mopar Shaker. This was my main reason for selecting Cervinis.

I chose the matte finish for the shaker and it held up very well ove the 3 years it was installed, the finish looks as good as the day I bought it. The hood was prepped and painted Pitch Black by Cervinis and they nailed the color match very well.

I will truly miss this mod…

I feel the Cervinis is much better than the stock shaker option. Why better you ask? Cervinis offers a perfect seal between the hood and the shaker outlet allowing NO HOT ENGINE AIR into the airbox. This coupled with the mopar intake tube  allowing ram air from the headlight and you have an amazing cold air intake setup with an aggressive hood to match.
