*** UPDATE While 3M Design Line Knifeless tape is better in curves it’s thinner and may fail while working with the thicker LightWrap FX.  It’s better to use the 3m Finishline – Knifeless Tape that is used in this video.

 

The new Luxe LightWrap and LightWrap FX are making some HUGE changes to the light and Chrome tinting market. I’ve been eyeing up the LightWrap FX Honeycomb Mid smoke for a few weeks now and finally decided how I want to install it.

I do one full light for you in this video and explain the process in detail, then show off the finished product.

Barton Shifter Review and Barton Pistol Grip Install Upgrade

All weather Mats 3dmaxpider Carbon Fiber pattern Kagu rubber for Dodge Challenger

So far I’m loving these 3D MAXpider Kagu Rubber mats, Laser cut for the Challenger the fit is near perfect. We’re talking about less than 1mm gap in 1 or 2 areas which I show in my video and it may even be related just being out of form from shipping. They feel nice and grippy under foot and look outstanding. These mats DO NOT SMELL which many mats I’ve purchased in the past carry a funky stench for a few weeks and the grip to the carpet below is like glue yet you can lift them out of the car easily for cleaning if required. I.e. they don’t slide around under foot, but when you lift straight up they come out smoothly (you are NOT peeling them out like Velcro)

Dash Cam Fun – Road Rage – Hit and Run Deer and more…

This is the first in what may become a series… Interesting tings I’ve captured on Dash cam  over the last 2 years.  In this video you will see some road Rage, we hit a deer not once, but twice.  Flying Fur groomers spraying dirty dog water all over us.  My son laughing so hard he couldn’t breathe due to a motorcycle scaring him and much more.

Another cam featured in this video is the Papago Go Safe 200  This is my oldest and most versatile cam.  I still love it to this day and now it’s super cheap.

The 2 videos below are worst case Daytime fopotage, same place and time driving into morning low hanging Sun, the only difference between the 2 is a $6 CPL (ploarizer) filter added to eliminate dash glare.

DAY DRIVING

This is 1920×1080 with the camera as is out of the box, quality is good, but with all dash cams the dashboad glare annoys me. I use the footage for cruising videos and other stuff so I prefer a clean video.

This is 1920 x 1080 with a stick on CPL (polarizer) I picked it up from eBay for $6.00 for another camera and it happen to stick on this one as well almost eliminating the glare
