I wanted to upgrade my stereo in my 2019 Ram 1500 Rebel. I have the six-speaker base system with an 8.4 uConnect. My first challenge was disabling the Active Noise Canceling (ANC). Due to the broader sound range of my speakers, the ANC soundwaves were now a loud bass drone. I have a video on my YouTube channel that goes into detail on this. Click for video
Speakers only I started with a set of Infinity Reference Series speakers. 6×9 3-way speakers in the doors and 3.5” speakers in the dash. This upgrade cost $310.00 since the dash speakers were on sale. The upgrade brought instant satisfaction with deeper bass, crisp, clear highs, and a much louder clean sound.
Active Noise Canceling, or ANC for short, is available in many Jeep, Dodge Ram vehicles. Microphones throughout the cabin pick up undesirable sounds, and the ANC module plays soundwaves through the speakers in an attempt to cancel these sounds.
When adding an amplifier or, in my case, speakers with a broader sound range, the Ram’s Active Noise Cancelling sound waves become loud, audible Bass drone that makes the vehicle undrivable. Shutting off the radio does not stop the sounds as it’s a separate system.
This video will walk you through disabling the 2019 Ram ANC by de-pining the connector that holds the microphone wires. Once you remove the four positive microphone wires, Active Noise canceling is disabled, and the annoying bass drone goes away. I also cover the other option of using the PAC Factory ANC Module Bypass Harness for Select Chrysler, Jeep, and Ram Vehicles. This Active Noise Cancelling bypass harness quickly installs in less than 2 minutes in most cases.
IMPORTANT NOTE: After disabling the Active Noice Cancelling in my 2019 Ram Rebel, I Do NOT notice any difference in cabin noise. ANC Disable also DOES NOT impact the noise cancelling in your phone calls. A different system handles Noise Canceling for mobile calls.
Testing the Autowit SuperCap 2 on my brother in law’s jeep. His car has a charging system issue, and his battery is always dead. As you can see, it was at 8.2 volts when we started. The Autowit SuperCap 2 took 5 minutes to charge from the 8.2-volt battery fully, and it started the car without a struggle.
A lighting controller is more on the expensive side, but it eliminates the hassle of wiring up relays fuses and with a wireless controller you don’t have to pass wiring through the firewall for switches.
I picked up the Trigger 4 Plus which allows for a total of 4 lights 2 at 10 amps and 2 at 30 amps. the switch pod is wireless so you can cary it in your pocket and mount it in the cab with a magnetic base. If you need more lighting you can group multile trigger controllers together or grab the Trigger six shooter
The brackets are from zRoadz and these Zroadz ditch light Brackets are specially made for the 2019-2021 Ram 1500 Rebel . For my ditch lighting I used the Auxbeam 4″ amber pod lights which do a very good job lighting up to roadside and the Amber color provides less reflection in dusty, foggy and snowy situations.

We said goodby to the 2005 Dodge Magnum R/T AWD and hello to this 2019 Ram Rebel 4×4 with a 5.7L. The goal is to create a off-road capable truck that’s still suitable to drive daily.
Today’s install is a simple one, blacking out all the white plastic with the pre-cut LightWrap kits from Luxe Auto Concepts.
I’ve been staring at the Spoilerking Rear window spoiler since my buddy Ryan over at Hemifam installed one on the old hag. I received a partial sponsorship for this so I figured it was time to go for it. I still paid well over $100 for this item, but the discount really helped. The spoiler featured in this vide is the Spoiler XL w/ Center Cut (380RC)
I installed the Luxe Forged Carbon Chopped Metallic vinyl in my dashboard and center console trim to compliment my new Forged Carbon Steering wheel. Each piece took just over an hour to wrap and the results were amazing.
Originally I wrapped it and left the silver trim ring around the edges and I was not happy with the results. You can see photos in the video at 0:19 so I peeled it off and wrapped the entire trim piece.
This is not an instructional video, but I do offer a few tips and as requested I show the entire wrap process for both pieces. Be sure to check out the Awesome Color Matched Paddle Shifters from CCH Customs and my new Forged Carbon Steering Wheel.
We’ve worked with Scalia-Motorsports many times in the past and while their new Shaker riser doesn’t fit on my hellcat, I really felt we needed to do a video on it. This kit raises the height of your Challenger Shaker Scoop by 3/4” giving it a more aggressive look. The kit comes with everything you need to install in about 20 minutes.

Only one kit required per vehicle; comes with parts to emulate BOTH exhaust valves.
If you want to remove the active exhaust valves on your Dodge or Chrysler vehicle, you need a valve simulator to prevent the Check-Engine light and diagnostic trouble codes.
Here is the simplest, fully electronic solution! Other options on the market are purely mechanical; require re-using the valves and mounting them to a dummy plate.
Installation:
1: Crawl under vehicle and unplug both active exhaust valves.
2: Plug in the Inactive Exhaust modules. Secure in place with a zip-tie.
3: That’s it! You can leave the valves in place if you have a stock system and just want the valves open all the time. Or you can remove them completely – even sell them!
Great for those that:
just want the valves open full-time
want to remove or disable “noisy valves” as it is common for them to rattle
have faulty valves and don’t want the expense of replacing them
installing aftermarket exhaust and are completely removing the valves
This kit contains two parts – one is the inactive exhaust module, with an automotive-grade microprocessor that communicates with the vehicle to make it think that the valves are installed and functioning properly. The other part is a dummy waterproof connector to keep the second valve’s plug from corrosion.
Works on all systems used in Chargers, Challengers and 300’s from 2015 to present.
